(1) Action
Performance Recording.
Important new performance
functionality has been introduced into each DNA Action.
The "P" (for "Performance") button has
now been added to a DNA
Action (Level-3).
When this button is selected the system opens up a
"performance history table" for the entry and tracking of
actual performance against target for any DNA Level-3
Action.
The entry of data into this table then enables the system to
produce the DNA Action Performance report (see Enhancements
to Management Reports below) which is a graphical time-line
chart that tracks "actual" versus "target" performance over time.
Any date
can be entered in the date field but the items in the table
are always presented with
the most recently dated entry at the top. The Performance
field is now automatically calculated as the percentage % of
"actual" to "target".
The top (latest dated) entry is then carried forward to The Action TAB-form
that is automatically populating into the Target, Actual, Performance,
and Date fields with the most recently dated data from the
Performance Table. If there is already data entered under
these fields (into The Action TAB form) then these values will remain
as they were in Release 1.43 but this old data will not be reflected in the Action Performance Report
until this data is re-entered into the new Performance Table
form.
Any clients who have
already used the "actual" and "target" fields of any
existing DNA Actions should contact TMP for the simple data
migration process to the new Release 1.44
(2) "Check Performance"
Menu Upgrade.
Within the
AMS/Check Performance item in the Main AMS Menu we have included
Direct Links to all "whole of business" reports. These links
provide a one-click generation of the selected report in
.PDF format.
(3)
Integrated Report Buttons.
All
integrated report buttons have been standardised to a
3-character identification.
For example the button to generate the Incident Item Report
is the "IIR" button, etc.
So now all 3-character buttons are therefore "report"
buttons.
Also all
integrated reports now default to the .PDF Abobe format
which means that they cannot be changed by a user after they
are generated.
If a "soft"
report is required in either a .DOC or .TXT format (i.e.
there is a requirement for the report to be changed after being generated) then this can be
provided by the AMS Administrator (normally only one
Administrator is nominated per business). The Administrator
must generate a specific Report Task within the
AMS/Administration/Reporting/Report Schedule menu selection
and select the option to have the .TXT report delivered to the
requesting person by email. The .TXT report attached to the email
can then be opened and changed. In conjunction with this
change we have now introduced an AMS
security audit trail logging all persons who receive any
emailed reports out of AMS.
(4) Additions & Changes to Management Reports.
We have now
adopted standards for the layout and colours used in all AMS
Management Reports. The "look & feel" of earlier reports has
therefore now changed slightly to conform to our new
reporting standards. Some earlier reports have also been
enhanced by adding additional information within the report.
Minor name
changing of some reports has also been introduced.
Seven (7) new
reports have been added in AMS Release 1.44, so
there are now a total of 19 Management Reports available within AMS.
Reports are categorised as "Standard" or "Selectable".
Standard
Reports are included within the basic AMS at no
charge.
Selectable Reports are available for inclusion for a
one-time purchase cost of $300 per report (excluding
GST).
There are now
13 Standard Reports within the basic AMS Release
1.44 as follows:
<> Strategic Operations Plan (previously called Strategic Business
Report)
<> DNA Business Plan (previously called Business DNA Summary
Report)
<> DNA Action Performance (New in Release 1.44)
<> Improvement Audit Report
<> Project Summary Report
<> Overdue Project Action Report
<> All Projects - Overdue Actions
<> Incident Item Report
<> Open Incidents Log Report
<> Incidents Overdue Report
<> Annual Appraisal Calendar Report
<> Performance Appraisal Report
<> Job Action Review Schedule Report (30-days)
There are now
6 Selectable
Reports. These additional reports can be optionally
added to the AMS of any business. The following selectable reports are
now available with AMS Release 1.44:
<> DNA Compliance & Risk Report (New in Release 1.44)
<> DNA High Risk Actions Report (New in Release 1.44)
<> All Risk Item Summary Report (New in Release 1.44)
<> Active Incidents by Category (New in Release 1.44)
<> Overdue Incidents by Category (New in Release 1.44)
<> Current Employee Directory (New in Release 1.44)
The
AMS Operational Reporting Guide
can be downloaded and is a PDF document detailing current
reporting available in AMS, including descriptions and
samples of all reports.
(5) Business Knowledge Dating
All business knowledge is now dated so that uploaded
knowledge can be verified by date. When new knowledge is
uploaded then the date field can be entered to reflect the
version date of the data uploaded. If the date is omitted
then this field defaults to today's date. The List Knowledge
items can be sorted within the date column (by selecting the
black up-arrow or down-arrow buttons in the header next to
"Dated" description) to check for new uploads that may have
occurred.
