The Action Management System (AMS) has progressed significantly over the past few months so we felt that it was time to update our Clients and Associates on some of our recent and exciting developments.

These developments may offer new opportunities for your business.

The following subjects are covered in more detail below:

<1> Excel AMS release Version 6.2.6
<2> Access to a pre-populated "generic" AMS System.
<3> Release of the new Internet Action Management System.
<4> AMS at the National Institute of Accountants.
<5> Inclusion of AMS in MYOB's new Add-on Solutions program.
<6> FREE listing for AMS Licensed Associates on the AMS Website.
<7> FREE AMS Workshops for potential Clients.
<8> Making Money for Associates using AMS.

(1) Excel AMS System - Release 6.2.6

In October 2005 we released Version 6.2.6 of our Excel-AMS System.
This was made immediately available to new Clients and Associates to download.
Those AMS Associates who joined The Management Practice after 1st November would have automatically downloaded the latest version. If you need to download Version 6.2.6 then simply email us with your request for access to download.

Downloading the latest version is FREE to all AMS Associates and all existing AMS Usernames and Passwords will give licensees immediate access. Email us if you have lost your password.

Apart from fixing a few minor bugs, the major enhancement in Excel-AMS Version 6.2.6 was the inclusion of the 1st Business Assessment module (see the new button on the Cover Page of the Excel-AMS). This is a better and faster method of completing the first DNA assessment and to improve the speed of AMS implementation. This module is used as soon as a Business DNA is completed. The assessment module is automatically populated with the Business DNA and the 1st DNA risk assessment can be completed within one hour. The assessment process can therefore be included within the DNA workshop and this leads to a faster implementation.

(2) Access to the pre-populated "generic" Excel AMS System

Also in October 2005 we released a "generic" Excel-AMS that we pre-populated with data from a "typical company". This was made immediately available to new clients and licensed AMS Associates to download. Downloading of the "generic" system is also FREE to AMS Associates and all existing AMS Associate Usernames and Passwords will give immediate access. Simply email us with your request for access to download.

The benefit of having a "generic" DNA already created within the Excel-AMS is that the new 1st Business Assessment module can be immediately used to assess the health of any business. This means that any AMS Associate or client can immediately perform a Risk Analysis of the Operational Management of the business. Although some of the text may be generic in nature, any of the generic text can be easily modified to create a modified version of the "generic" and saved as a tailored DNA before the assessment is conducted.

(3) Release of the Internet Action Management System

In September 2005 we released a multi-user Internet-AMS.

This multi-user Internet AMS has significantly expanded on the functionality of the single-user Excel-AMS and introduced relational database technology that extends the scope of AMS by an order of magnitude.

Access to AMS knowledge and functionality is now available to any user who has access to an Internet Explorer browser. Users can be at work, at home, or traveling, and can have online access to any operational aspect of the business, Nationally or Internationally.

The Internet-AMS connects to a company's email so that email follow-ups are automatically generated. Operational Management Reports on any aspect of the AMS can now be generated and automatically emailed to anyone in the Company.

Major new functionality has been introduced into the Internet-AMS:
<> An "Action Reminder" system has been introduced for any Action that has a "due date".
<> A simple "Project Management" system is now built in to track all Improvement Projects.
<> An "Incident Action Management" system has been introduced that can register, allocate, and track all operational incidents from inception to resolution.
<> The "Staff Performance Review" system has been redesigned to improve the management of all staff by all managers.
<> Extensive Operational Management reporting has been integrated into Internet AMS using Crystal Reports to report on any data in the AMS database.

(4) AMS at the National Institute of Accountants

In November 2005 we signed an agreement with the NIA to implement AMS within their own organisation. The first phase of this implementation is scheduled for completion by 31st March. Following the successful implementation (which we are all working hard to achieve) the NIA plans to work with us to make the Internet-AMS available to the businesses of its members.

NIA has approximately 15,000 members and their membership is primarily made up of CFO's and Accountants from small to medium sized businesses. The companies that employ these members are likely to be the ideal size for AMS and are therefore all potential users of the Internet-AMS.

We anticipate that our joint marketing of the AMS with NIA will commence in May 2006.

We are therefore keen to expand the number of licensed AMS Associates.

If only a small percentage of NIA members show interest in AMS then this program should generate many potential clients for our AMS Associates in Australia and NZ.

(5) AMS inclusion in the new MYOB Add-on Solutions program.

In the latter part of 2005, MYOB started a "Pilot Program" called their Add-on Solutions program. We were then fortunate to have been selected by MYOB to be one of their pilot Add-on Solutions providers and to be included in their website pilot. (See the AMS solution on the MYOB website by clicking on this link).

MYOB have approximately 350,000 users in Australia and New Zealand.
About 10% of these are MYOB Premier users (the target market for AMS).
If only a small percentage of these MYOB Premier users show interest in AMS then this program could generate many potential clients for our Internet-AMS in Australia and NZ.

Now MYOB are planning to start promote these Add-on Solutions to their users from April 2006 onward.

(6) FREE listing for AMS Associates on the AMS Website.

The above NIA and MYOB relationships should generate a strong stream of enquiries for the Internet-AMS, and together with this demand, our need for AMS Associates will continue to grow.

All AMS Associates can include their profile and contact details on the Associates Network area of our website. We only require that you email us your personal profile in less than 50 words. Take a look at this section of our website to better understand what we need. (See http://www.actionmanagement.com.au/documents/associates.html )

All AMS Associates receive comprehensive training before they are permitted to engage clients with AMS. After this training then you simply email us your profile to us in 50 words or less with your request to be included in our AMS Associates Network page and we will list your details on our site so that you can be established to participate in our NIA and MYOB initiatives.

(7) FREE AMS Client Workshops for CEOs.

We run FREE 2-hour AMS workshops for prospective clients.
We run these "on demand" whenever required. Most of these are conducted in our Conference Room at 133 Alexander St, Crows Nest, however we are happy to run "Online Workshops"  to any potential client anywhere in Australia or New Zealand using our online training facilities. Only a high speed connection to the Internet is required.

These workshops start with a 30 minute overview of AMS and "the benefits of AMS" and are followed by a complete demonstration of the Internet-AMS. Our objective is simply to convince potential clients that they should take the first small step towards AMS by developing their Business DNA at a fixed cost of $3,500.

(8) We want more AMS Associates.

For potential AMS Associates we provide a FREE 4-hour training course.

The training program is run from office at 133 Alexander Street, Crows Nest. This is face to face interactive "hands on" training that spends 70% of the time teaching you how to implement AMS with a client, and the remainder on the Internet-AMS. We provide this training in Sydney and Auckland, so if you are outside of these areas then you will need to travel to us (or pay our expenses to come to you).

We use the term "engage" rather than "sell" because the clear concept of AMS is to make an AMS Associate the "Improvement Manager" that a client can rely upon to guide them through the AMS method of improving their business.

The vital first step with any AMS client is the development their Business DNA, and in this initial training course we provide all of the tools and instruction to TEACH an AMS Associate how to do this. There is huge value in the Business DNA because it gives both the AMS Associate and the client a real understanding of the business in only two half-day client workshops for a one-off fixed fee of $3,500.

Our FREE Associate training workshops are run regularly and any potential AMS Associate can click here to register for a FREE Sydney workshop. We are also running a New Zealand workshop on Thursday 16th March in Auckland so click here to obtain details of the FREE Auckland NZ workshop.
